I began my career with Olan Mills in 1989 as a portrait consultant in Winchester, VA. Pictorial directories were just changing from black and white to color, and we returned three weeks after photography for families to proof the pictures that was taken during their session.
Several years later I found sales more desirable and progressed to a church consultant where I would visit with churches, talk to pastors and meet with committes to present our pictorial church directory program. After many years of a career I really enjoyed, I began to believe that I could offer churches a better experience if I owned my own company and eliminated the many frustrations that come with working alongside a large corporate organization.

It seemed that I could offer some of these, occasionally, but I never had the support of the company that I represented to give the church the experience they wanted, and I'm excited to share that the day has come that your church can work with together with a company who is more interested in having a relationship with your church, than simply moving on to the next program.
Today I still enjoy the atmosphere of families coming in on picture day, excited to create new memories they will look at and cherish forever. I even find myself at the church from time to time, photographing families or assisting them with proofing their pictures. Our staff will proof the pictures alongside your families and if they don't see anything they want, they simply select their image for the directory, they receive that same image for their free complimentary portrait and they are on their way.
